Technical Key Accounts Manager


 Job Specification

5-10 years of experience in global technical support and key account Management. Strong engineering background in layout and design of industrial piping systems, such as fire fighting, chemical plants, oil and gas, district heating, hydraulics, power plants or automotive. Good understanding of customer value and market dynamics and requirements. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals. Proven ability to generate profitable growth by developing creative solutions for global accounts.


Job Objective

  • Establishes knowledge pools on expert level for various industries and develops tailor-made solutions to support our existing and to acquire new global key accounts. Visits our clients regularly
    and supports them in layout and design of industrial piping systems. Therewith builds strong customer relations and supports our ambiguous growth targets.
    Acquires new customers and develops training and educational programs for clients and other Account Managers.

Roles


  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Builds trust to existing and potential accounts and drives actively acquisition projects from prospecting calls, follow up to closing deals. Sets examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. Conducts regular coaching and counselling with other Account Executives Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develops global key account strategy and sales plan that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects. Initiates and coordinates development of acquisition plans to penetrate new markets. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Understands training and development needs and provides insight for the improvement of Account Management Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding status of projects and performance.
  • Preparation, verification and processing of offers, orders and customers-specific solutions.
  • Supports other Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Complies to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Industry Network Communicative, open and customer-oriented personality .
