Kanchi Technologies, Inc. Awards Engineering Scholarship at WICIMSDC Event Held at Johnson Controls

Kanchi Technologies awarded its annual engineering scholarship at the Wisconsin Minority Supplier Development Council meeting held at Johnson Controls on January 8, 2013. The scholarship is awarded to students who are:

  • in their senior year of high school and intend to pursue an Engineering degree in college
  • in the top of their class, academically
  • from a financially challenged background
  • active in their community

The Kanchi Technologies scholarship includes:

  • $1,200 in the senior year of high school to assist the student in preparation for college
  • a laptop computer and peripherals, up to $800 in value
  • $1,200 in additional funds once the student enters a college engineering program as a freshman in 2013
  • an internship with Kanchi Technologies in their second and third years of college

The 2012 recipient of the Kanchi Technologies engineering scholarship is Raelon White, a senior at Messmer High School.
