Business Development / Sales leader - Engineering & IT Services


Locations:
US North Midwest (Illinois/Wisconsin/Minnesota) – 1 Director, 1 Manager
US South Midwest (Texas) – 1 Director, 1 Manager
US East (Ohio/Atlanta/New Jersey) – 1 Director, 1 Manager

Role: Sales / Business Development (Hunter):


  • Identify leads, cold calling and Generating prospects and leads
  • Convert leads to opportunities and close to meet both individual and group sales targets
  • Customer relationship management and pro-actively approach Regional US based clients/ prospects to understand their requirements on engineering design / resource planning
  • Write proposals and delivering presentations to clients
  • Maintaining a detailed knowledge of company services and offerings and applying it effectively to secure new business and develop existing relationships.
  • Analyze the market trends and define penetration strategy to address opportunities
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge and awareness of competitor activities.
  • Assisting in developing sales plans and strategy
  • Track A/R and solve issues
  • VP & Director level sales leaders to lead / manage sales managers in their territory
  • Ideal candidates would also posses strong Engineering background & 10+ years of selling to Manufacturing industry clients with $1B - $10B revenue
  • Experience structuring onshore/offshore projects for large customers
  • Outstanding skills in generating well-qualified leads
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Already has a proven, trusted network or relationships

Goals:


  • Should be able to carry a sales target and work with individual contributors towards achieving it
  • Identifying new clients and opportunities, prospecting and lead management
  • Negotiating contracts and closing opportunities
  • Sell portfolio of Engineering Services using the onsite and offshore models
  • Work closely with Delivery leadership to manage delivery, client expectations and growth investments for additional capabilities
  • Set up and manage partners in your territory
  • Consultative sales model
  • Must work flexible hours to cover overlap with India based delivery leadership
  • 1 of the sales Directors could be promoted to lead the US sales team in 2012
