Sunil Kanchi


Founder of Kanchi Technologies, Sunil founded the company based on experiences gained working across the entire product realization lifecycle in Rockwell Automation, a global industrial controls and automation company, in Larsen & Toubro; India's largest engineering conglomerate, in PTC, one of the leading CAD/PLM software company, and L&T Infotech, a top tier IT & Engineering services organization over the past 17 years.  He has both sold and purchased engineering services and set up engineering partner organizations in Brazil, China, India, and the US.


Sunil is a certified Lean Master and Six Sigma Green belt. Sunil holds a MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, USA, Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University, USA and a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Kerala, India.


Jaismon Emmanuel


Jaismon is Member of the Board and Head of Delivery of Kanchi Technologies. He has 17 years of engineering and services industry experience and handled various roles in Offshore Delivery Management and Client Relationship Management from India, USA and Canada. For the last one decade, Jaismon had been with Infosys Technologies, second largest services company in India. He had been part of Infosys' Engineering Services group since its inception and executed several engineering engagements using Global Delivery Model. During his tenure at Infosys, he handled project delivery and account management of several key accounts in Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing segments. Prior to that he worked as R&D engineer with Larsen and Toubro, India's leading engineering conglomerates. Jaismon holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from National Institute of Technology, India.


Anil Padmanabhan


Anil is the head for Industrial Products verticals for Kanchi Technologies. He comes with over 22 years of industry experience in the areas of manufacturing engineering and engineering services. During the rich tenure of 17 years with India's leading engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro, he handled roles of Regional Engineering Design Head and Offshore Delivery Head in their Electrical Business Group. He also held positions as Technical Solutions Consultant – Telecom Power for ACME Tele Power Limited and General Manager, Outsourcing, India for the UK based WSP group. His experience spans into managing businesses of North America and MEA handling accounts in switchgear, control & automation, telecom power. Anil holds an Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from University of Kerala, India


Sreedhar Iyer


Sreedhar is Director of Engineering and heads the embedded practice at Kanchi technologies. He has more than 23 years of experience in product engineering and allied services, spread across varied domains such as Defense, CE, and Automotive. His forte is in Delivery management in all its facets and he has been instrumental in building and growing teams from scratch, stabilizing troubled programs, and providing quality leadership. He brings a wealth of experience related to offshoring programs of varying complexity, scale and technologies, and managing them to consistent stakeholder satisfaction. Sreedhar also possesses management consulting experience after having handled strategy evolution and large deal pursuits in his past career.


Sreedhar holds a MS in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Kerala.


Advisory Board


Bob Anderson


Bob Anderson started his career by joining Allen-Bradley (now Rockwell Automation) as a Sales Engineer. He progressed in the organization working both in sales and product division functions. After many middle management assignments he became Vice President Southern Sales region, then Vice President & General Manager of the company's motor control center business. He eventually assumed responsibility for all four of the Rockwell Automation systems businesses. Bob retired from Rockwell Automation in 2004. Bob has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is a Corporate Board member of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, a SCORE counselor and trainer in both Wisconsin and Florida, and a Partner in the Now4life charity. Bob's major areas of expertise are in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning and International Business.


KrishnaKumar Krishnan PhD.


Dr. Krishna Krishnan is professor and Chair of the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering program at Wichita State University. Dr. Krishnan started his career in the Indian Space Research Organization after his Bachelors in Engineering. He completed his PhD from Virginia Tech in 1994. He has been teaching for the past 14 years in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Wichita State University (WSU). Dr. Krishnan with his students has published more than 70 articles primarily in the area of manufacturing systems. He has guided 61 MS and 3 PhD students. He has been a consultant for industries such as Boeing Aircraft Co. Bombardier-Learjet, Raytheon, Hawker-Beechcraft, Cessna, and Spirit. Dr. Krishnan's research expertise is in the area of manufacturing systems with emphasis on computer integrated systems, digital manufacturing analysis, facilities planning, supply chain, and risk analysis. For his efforts in research, he was awarded the Bombardier Learjet Fellowship from 2004 – 2007.


Mike Weaver


J. Michael Weaver is Executive Vice President and CTO of WeGo Engineering LLC, a company specializing in operations assessment, business process optimization, lean product manufacturing systems design, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Product Life Management (PLM) Processes, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Programs and New Product Development Six Sigma Processes. His assignments with WeGo Engineering include the William Wrigley Jr. Co., one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of confectionery products.


In 2007, Mr. Weaver retired as the Vice President – Advanced Manufacturing for the DeWALT Business Division of Black & Decker Inc. (~$6.3bn sales). He has enjoyed a highly successful career that has included key positions with some very well known professional and consumer brands. His career shows professional growth through such positions as Quality Engineer & Manager, Assembly Manager, Industrial Engineering Manager, Plant Manager, Director Advanced R&D, Vice President of Engineering & New Product Development, and Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing.


Mr. Weaver has also served in the U.S. Air Force (active & reserve forces) for 37 years, retiring from active participation in the position of Command Chief for the 916th ARW.


Mr. Weaver earned his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Illinois and an Associate Degree in Electronics from the Community College of the Air Force.
